As you can see I am on Oxygen to help my COPD. I have been having trouble breathing since 2006 and was going to the hospital every 3 or 4 months. After returning from the hospital all I did was lay around eating and sleeping for quite a while. I didn’t know about therapy for myself and then one day my doctor prescribed therapy for me. I was going to another center, but then it closed. I was told about Stoneking Physical Therapy and Wellness Center and started November 8th, 2011. I am doing the Treadmill, Nustep and Biodex. When I first started my breathing was bad. I started going three days a week doing about 5-10 minutes of exercise and would have to stop to rest several times because my oxygen would drop. Now I am exercising 15-35 minutes per exercise without a drop in my oxygen level. I am really enjoying it! I have not been back to the hospital since February 2012.
Also, for years I had pain with my right arm and had a hard time moving it. If I slept on it, it would be sore the next morning. I would get shots from my doctor, and then one day she gave me a prescription for physical therapy. I started physical therapy at Stoneking Physical Therapy and Wellness Center September 11, 2012, and as of today my arm is feeling great and the pain is at a minimum.
By going to Stoneking Physical Therapy and Wellness Center I have learned to move around, get up and walk from one room to another once in a while, even to stand and stretch while watching TV during commercial breaks. By doing this I have strengthened my muscles, and bones which has made my life better. Life will be better for you if you keep moving around and doing therapy.
At Stoneking Physical Therapy and Wellness Center on Parkway Avenue in Ewing, Kari, Dan and Richard are very helpful, friendly and make you feel like you can overcome the pain. Believe me, since I have been going to Stoneking Physical Therapy and Wellness Center my breathing and aches and pains have improved greatly. I do not have shortness of breath as much as I used to. So come and join us and have some fun letting go and getting rid of those aches and pains! Thank you for listening and hope to see you at Stoneking Physical Therapy and Wellness Center!

The machines are excellent as are the trainers! Just a note to thank you, and congratulate you and your staff for the outstanding job you have done in establishing the Stoneking wellness Center in order to benefit the “younger and older” citizens of Lambertville and the surrounding areas. The programs introduced by the trainers, as well as the various challenges that have been offered, only add to peaking one’s interest in exercise!
From my own personal point of view, I wanted to thank Laura for her personal interest and training since my coming on board in October 2008. I have just had my 2009 physical exam, and my doctor was extremely pleased with my blood pressure, cholesterol (dropped 60 points), body fat %, BMI and all the other vital statistics included in a complete blood count profile. He was also impressed with my fitness level, which included running up and down two flights of stairs with good recovery time, doing multiple squats, lunges, touching of toes, balancing and breathing.
I have worked very hard since joining the Center and with Laura’s encouragement and bi-monthly assessments and patience, I have been able to increase my workout time and number of pounds and repetitions. The machines are excellent as are the trainers, not to mention the pleasant atmosphere and interaction with people I have experienced — yet another aspect of “staying young and active!”
My thanks to both you and Laura for all you have helped me to accomplish health-wise this year!
I would definitely recommend you to anyone I know… I just wanted to thank you for all the energy and time you dedicated to my knee and, more importantly, me. You knew I was a basket case and paranoid freak, but you were so awesome that I felt I could trust you. I would definitely recommend you to anyone I know (or don’t know). Thanks so much.
You always made it fun to come to therapy! I just want to write you a note to thank you for all your help this month! All of your work and patience has helped my leg to feel better than it has in over a year! You have helped me to retrain my leg (and myself) so I can walk normal.
You always made it fun to come to therapy! Thank you so much for all your hard work! I was lucky to have you as my physical therapist.
Thanks again. I will miss seeing you every week. Your patients and Mr. Stoneking are very lucky to have you!
Thanks to all of you for the terrific support you provided. Just a quick note of thanks to all of you for the terrific support you provided during the past two months. On Tuesday of this week, my doctor reexamined my shoulder and was very pleased with the progress made in such a relatively short period. Our mutual agreement was that surgery is not needed at this time and with a little more luck may never be. Only time will tell but, whatever that outcome, I again want to express my sincere appreciation for all your efforts on my behalf.
You run a first rate business. I’m so pleased I found my way to the House of Stoneking. You run a first rate business. I have some experience in rehab facilities, and to date I have not found anyone as knowledgeable, thorough and as respectful as you. You quickly earned my trust and made me feel that the time I would invest would pay off.
I am used to health care professionals telling me what I cannot do and what I have to settle for. It was indeed refreshing to learn what I can do. I feel better now then I have in years, certainly better than I felt before my dislocations in July and September. I also have a renewed confidence about fitness. I know how to turn on a treadmill and what a total gym is! I eagerly look forward to getting into a more permanent fitness program.
Your good humor made the workouts tolerable. Your sensitivity to your patients even when you didn’t feel so good won my respect. And your generosity of spirit just makes you a nice guy.
As good as you are I intend to try to stay away from physical therapy.
